WHO IS THAT NOIZE remixes

hOUSEMEISTER is bringing us a compilation with tracks from “Who is that noize”, remixed by artists as Boys Noize, Siriusmo, … . The compilation will be released on CD the 16th october. But there will not only be a CD release, but an there will be an EP release aswell. Part 1 should be released around the 15th of september and the second part should be around 6 october. The EP will have some tracks less then the CD. On the CD I find a lot of artists I never heard about, but probably you think the same. So I’m adding a remix of the complete album with 45 seconds of every track.

Some good news for all our Belgium readers. This thursday, in TV premier, Canvas will be broadcasting the documentary of Soulwax called “Part of the weekend never dies”. DJEDJOTRONIC

Djedjotronic, not an easy name to remember if you ask me. But lately he really is getting busy. A lot of gigs along with ed banger crew and some remixes aswell. One you probably know , is the underground remix on which he worked together with busy p. I uploaded two of his most recent tracks. One is a remix of DSL’s Invaders (which was released on the Ed Banger label). Then the second one is a brand new own production, very f(r)unky sound. In November he’ll be releasing a new EP on the Ed Banger Rec label! So keep your eyes open for this guy. Enjoy!

Boys Noize Records presents The Faint

A new release on the BNR label. Not really the style of EP you would expect on this label. The Faint is more of a rock band, from the United States. The EP is called The Geeks Were Right, for us it’s not really the original track we are waiting for, BUT on the EP we find 3 remixes of the track. One by Boys Noize & DIM and two from an other Boys Noize artist, Shadow Dancer.

Cheap Thrills remixed

The original is getting rather old, but still lots of artist have remixed this track lately. I selected 2 remixes which I like most. The first one is from no less than Armand Van Helden, still one of the biggest names in the dance scene, even tho we haven’t heard much lately from his own productions. Then the second track is from The Count, the original track was from Herve, well The Count (or The Count of Monte Cristal) is actually an alias from Herve.

MSTRKRFT remix from John Legend ft Andre 3000

John Legend is a R&B/soul artist from America. In 2004 he got famous because of his album Get Lifted, which was produced by Kanye West. Now in 2008 he just released his new single Green Light which is the first single of the new Album Evolver. For the single he worked together with Andre 3000, he is a member of the band Outkast. Well enough of this background information and I’ll get to the point. MSTRKRFT remixed this track and made it available since today for everyone to download, for free. I’ve got a lot of tracks lined up for you guys! So here we go.

First off, a remix from Jence. Doesn’t ring any bells ? that name ? Well if I say he is the skinny guy from Digitalism , it will! He remixed a track from the Presets called Talk Like That. When you hear the remix, you can definitely tell he’s a member of Digitalism.

Now, a brand new remix from Project Cyborg. They just won PragaTown Dj contest which gave them a place in the line-up of this years PragaTown dance edition the 13th september. Too be honest the worst name you could pick for promotional reasons, or isn’t it? Well these guys have some good sound and a lot of own work aswell, you can check it out at their myspace.

Then another remix, from a guy who calls himself Mustard Pimp. He’s from France and is bringing us a remix from a track just released on the new Crookers EP, Il Brutto. Some Fidget pimp’in stuff.
