Voltronixx is producing bomb after bomb. Their newest song, Boost Down, already caught the attention of Tone Rec, which is a nice upcoming record label in the scene and has label-nights at, Culture Club, interviews on Stubru, etc. You can prelisten the song on their myspace, give some feedback while you’re there.

It’s been some time since my last post, thought it was time for some dubstep on this blog. Here we go!
The first tracks are by High Rankin, a Brighton (UK) based dubstep producer.
He got introduced almost a year ago at Palms Out Sounds and his banging tunes got my attention.
High Rankin kept on making awesome productions.. Here’s the video for ‘No Money For Guns’:

Hold The Line, the latest track Diplo & Switch recorded as Major Lazer, got a dubstep rework by DZ.

The last one is a remix by The Boog-A-Loo Crew. They remixed Zombie Disco Squad’s Eurovision.
I couldn’t really dig the original, but the dubstep version sounds perfect:
Ruff N Funct! is a nice collaboration between Slade of Defunct! and Shab Ruffcut. The duo has a lot of releases coming up in the next month and as promotion they gave this song for free. “Solid G” is a small sneak peak towards the future releases and I must say that the outcome is more than I expected. The song contains a perfect mix of ghetto-vocals and some dirty bass samples.

Finally, A moment a lot of us have been waiting for, Boys Noize is coming with a new album! Unfortunatly we’ll have to wait till late September this year to get our hands on it. But the 22nd of June Boys Noize will present his first new tracks, a double a-side record. The record will include the tracks “Starter” and “Jeffer”. I’ve uploaded a myspace rip from the track “Starter”, for a preview of the other track you can check his myspace player. For the track “Starter” I could say it’s just 100% Boys Noize. Dark, electro tune with a lot of NOIZE in it!

The second EP of Project Cyborg is about to be released on MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO label! the 11th of June to be more exact. The EP will be called “Hey Ladies” and will include the original mix and the remix by Modek formerly known as Mellow. The Project Cyborg fans will hear it correctly, Hey Ladies is build on the same sample they used for their snoop dogg vs dr dre remix. My guesses is that they had to get rid of that remix because they didn’t had the rights to use the vocals etc … (correct me if I’m wrong!). Anyway, they polished up the sample, got some new lyrics and made it ready to hit the clubs. Also check the Modek remix which I even find a bit better then the original track.

Boltan‘s remix EP is just released on the Party Like Us label, including remixes from Blatta & Inesha, Acid Jacks and The Mightyfools. These last ones, The Mightyfools, remixed ‘Creepy’ and the good news is: It’s free for download! Brilliant track and definitely my favourite Mightyfools remix. Also check Mightyfools myspace for a preview of ‘Sound Of Stereo – Jack My Trombone’ remix on their music-player!

I think we all know Afrojack and the typical sound he uses in many of his songs. Well he made a new remix and used the same sound but I still can’t get enough of it. The drops in this song are amazing and way better than the original in my opinion. Give it a hear and see if you like it.
BeatauCue is a french trio, who are friends sinds childhood and share the same passion for electronic music. Inspired by artist as Hervé, Diplo, Afrojack and many artists alike, they already made some own creations and remix who defenitly are worth checking out. Their first EP release will be “Wanna be normal” including many remixes. The track itself gives me that continues build-up feeling, so there isn’t much of a real climax (in my honest opinion), and is backed up by a continues low/dark vocal loop.

I’m actually a bigger fan of their latest remix for ‘Major Lazor – Pon di Floor’, the original is a favourist track in many dj sets. The remix gives it an nice swirl and gives you a sound you weren’t expecting (around 00:45). A great remix.
Geht’s Noch? made an early June mix for everyone who’s looking out for the summer but still has to punch themselves through finals (like myself).
We are not the only ones looking out for the summer… Geht’s Noch? got a spot at the Tommorowland Main Stage next to Felix Da Housecat, Les Petitis Pilous, and many more. So they are heading to a summer full of madness.
Also, expect a brand new Geht’s Noch EP after the summer.
Le Castle Vania, a dj/producer from the US has released a sampler cd with a selection of his remixes, including his remixes for ‘Grum – Go back’ and ‘Fukkk Offf – Rave is king’. He used the CD as promotion copy to pass around at gigs and partys, but now it’s also available as free download! So check out this digital release presented by Skull Candy Headphones.
