Proxy stuff

Half In Love With Elizbeth is a track from the Mystery Jets an indie rock band from the UK. The original track was remixed by Foamo quite some time ago, which was a brilliant remixed and loved by many blogs and blogreaders. Now, The Proxy is taking a shot at it and he delivers something you might not expect from him. Offcourse the brilliant vocals remain but from there out it’s just nice relaxed track actually, it’s just untill the end of it that some typical proxy sounds come floating up. A good track for the early summer days.

Then a track that just flew in our mailbox, an edit by Trumpdisco (check their own production a few posts ago!) for Proxys newest upcomming track “Who are you?”. So while we are waiting for the orginal and offcourse the Bloody Beetroots remix we can go crazy on this one, an absolutly banging edit.

A1 Bassline: Sounds Of Summer 04

A1 Bassline is back with another mixtape! This time it’s for the awesome Palms Out Sounds Of Summer series. The first mix by Foamo was one of the best mixes I had heard this year. Sidechains did the second mix, but Jaymo & Andy George failed to deliver episode 03 in time. That mix will be posted as soon as they do.

Soulblazers

For all you dupstep lovers living in Antwerp, the 7th of July Bar 9 will be attending Soulblazers at Spiegeltent!
He’s one of the best producers out there, making those bass heavy tunes. If you haven’t heard of him before, it’s about time!

Mashin It Up

So.. tomorrow I have my first exam… Guess it’s time for another post.

Here are two mini mixes that both go for super fast mash ups.
The first one is by Zombie Disco Squad, who did it for Annie Mac’s Mash Up radio show at BBC One.
Apparantly they featured 155 tracks in 5 minutes and a half.
This is what ZDS had to say about it:

“We got asked by Miss Mac to submit a minimix for Radio 1. We managed to fit 155 tracks into 5 minutes exactly (previous leader being 154), which, we believe, makes us ALL TIME SUPREME RULING WORLDWIDE UNDEFEATED LEADING CHAMPIONS!
