Shaved Monkeys ft NEUS – Feel That
New producers are popping up everywhere in no time. Shaved Monkeys, Belgium’s newest dj-duo to hit our blog, is a collaboration between two guys from West-Flandres. Their newest production is called Feel That, I’ve been listening to the track ever since I got a hold of it. It has a perfect balance between trashy beats and chill vocals.

THIS IS A SHAKEDOWN!

THIS IS A SHAKEDOWN! is an Electronic/Rock band from Ohio USA. They are probably more of a “rock” band then “electronic”, still I wanted to post a small thing about them. The reason is that their newest single “Circles” from their album “”Love Kills” has this very cool videoclip. The entire clip is recorded with the build in camera from 21 macbooks placed around them. Cool clip and good song aswell actually!
Rechoque Redux EP
Everybody rejoice as Belgiums most succesful dj-duo Luuk Cox and Jimmy Dewit, better known as Shameboy, brought out a ‘new’ EP, which as the title says is an hommage to Rechoque, Shameboy’s big breakthrough. The EP is composed of a rework made by Shameboy themselves and 3 remixes.

Personally i think the rework is excellent, very different but also recognizable. Alex Gopher made a bit of a electro-house remix, very pleasing on the ear. The Fukkk Offf remix is not that renewing, it’s basically rechoque with a deeper bassline, but still sounds nice. And last but not least, Markus Lange also kept the basic synth that makes Rechoque great but put in a robotvocal and some nice additions to support the song. Overall, this is a FANTASTIC EP with a brilliant rework and 3 remix of a very high quality.

Nightshifters Are Back!

The Temper Trap – Science Of Fear (Hervé Remix)
Hervé, a real king in making hot tracks (see photo), layed his hands on the dubstep genre and I think he did a great job. The track starts out really smooth with some vocals and a great beat when the dubstep kicks in.
If you want to see Hervé in Belgium you will have to wait until he plays at Culture Club (4th of July) and of course Pukkelpop (21th of August).

L-Vis 1990, one of my favorite upcoming producers, just launched a new vid for his track United Groove.
It starts with a long build up. Just a Big bass drum with some vocals over it. The climax (at 1:59) just blew me away.

Dirty Disco Youth is a German Dj who is rocking all over the world atm. He’s got upcoming shows in Hannover, Sicily, Seoul, etc.
