Pogo is the artist name of a young guy from Australia. Unlike a lot of artists Pogo’s tracks contain for the most part, samples from known movies. Quick loops and psychedelic melodies are his trademark. On his last.fm page you can download almost all his tracks for free. Algeronics recently remixed Aphex Twins‘ track called “Window licker”.
The track starts out very soft and innocent but after a while it bursts into a thrashy electro floorfiller. Also be sure to check his myspace for other bangers!
Montréal duo NUJAX (Kid Legit and Girl Problems) are currently working on their first EP and they gave us a small peek towards it. “Super Duper Fly” uses vocals from a 90′s song which I don’t know the name of. Next is a remix of Major Lazer’s “Zumbi”, a nice summer track with a touch of reggae and some wobbly stuff.
