Beatbouncers are climbing their way upon the producing ladder. I can imagine them paying many bills for all the roofs they will be blowin’ up with their tracks. That’s why they were kind enough to give our readers their latest remix for free as a promotion for their upcoming EP which is remixed by Gtronic, Serial Chillers and The Deficient.
In their spare time they were kind enough to answer a few questions for us:

INTERVIEW WITH BEATBOUNCERS

Your track “Bubblegum” got a lot of attention; did you expect things would go like this?
We never thought things would go that quick; but we can surely say that we’re not unhappy about it ! The EP also got good comments because of the Lee Mortimer remix we think

How do you think your newest EP will do?
Well, You never know what the reactions will be, but we hope to do better than our Bubblegum EP, until now we heard mostly good comments on both our new track and the remixes featured on the EP

What kind of producing material do you use? Are you planning on getting new soft-/hardware?
Currently we’re using Ableton with some additionals VSTs, no further hardware, but we’re planning to get some hardware, such as a kaosspad etc.

What are your expectations for the future?
We hope to get massively famous, play everywhere around the world, meet loads of hot chicks while earning billions and drinking way too much alcohol. No, serious, we’ll see where we get, we’re just lucky we’re able to meet a lot of crazy nice people and having loads of fun while playing & partying

What was your first gig you played at and how did you manage to reserve it?
Our first gig was actually already quite cool, it was in Antwerp, in a club called the Cinema. We had to open, just before Sound of Stereo, The Proxy and Geht’s Noch ft. Lextravaganza. We managed to get there because a friend of Nicolas organised the party, and Nicolas helped him.

When playing at a gig do you have a premade setlist, mix on the spot or something between?
Well, we never do anything before playing a gig, mostly we trade some new tracks before the gig, but that’s it, we just improvise on the spot, taking into account what makes the crowd goes wild, as most DJs do.

Do you guys request anything when you play at a gig?
Not really, just a Pioneer-installation, and we love to drink vodka-redbull and beer.

Which artist/release is getting too little attention and should deserve more?
Actually there are too many artists who receive less attention than they deserve, and otherwise too, some artists get way more attention than they deserve.
Gtronic is getting really hot these days, finally ! His tracks are massive, and he really deserves more attention than he has got until now, and there are many more artists like Project Cyborg, The OddWord, etc who play awesome Dj-sets and have great tracks !
Belgium is on fire, and it’s only the beginning

Promote your upcoming EP. Why should people buy it?
Because it’s a cool, because it’s bouncy, because it’s ravey, because it’s Fidget, because it’s pounding, because Serial chillers made a remix, because Gtronic made a remix, because the Deficient made a remix, because it’s on a Belgian label called MSMD, because we’re Beatbouncers, and because we need cash to fund our drinking problems.
