Catchy tunes and raw electro

Wow! Thanks to all that awesome I Love Techno stuff we got like twice as many hits! Let’s just hope some of those new visitors find their way back. I added Laston & Geo liveset to the livesets post and I also added the latest video from AOOA.TV, Crookers intro at I Love Techno. But enough with the I Love Techno stuff (I typed those three words too many times the last two days), I’ve got some quality stuff ready for you.

First off a new release from the dutch label Basserk. Earcleaner EP is the debut EP from Rawfare who some of you know from his remix for Motor (Sebastian). Catchy tune throughout the whole track backed up with some raw crunchy electro sounds.

Then two tracks that ended up twice in my inbox. First time from Nobody Beats The Drum who are responsible for the track Purple Cactus (loving the videoclip, check top)and the second time from Dem Slackers who made a remix for that track. The remix starts of a bit boring but as soon as it hits 2:00 BANG!

Here’s two fresh tunes from one of my favorite producers of the last couple of years, AC Slater. He always manages to make the sickest dancefloor bangers, and for these two tunes he made no exception. His remix of Adam Freeland is my personal favorite.

Egbert

Egbert is a Dutch producer, who started out making techno tracks. Since 2008 he has released 2 EPs and some remixes, all in the (progressive) techno genre. His new tune “Blaassound” however, is more my cup of tea. Some nice electro house coming with a big heavy bass! The song was featured on the New Kidz On The Block EP, together with 2 other promising Dutch producers: Rauwkost and Olene Kadar.

Damn, I’m so bummed out I didn’t go to this years I Love Techno. After seeing the first videos popping up on youtube.com I just know it was a sick party. But there is good knows for all dumb f*cks like me who didn’t go, Studio Brussel (Belgian radiostation) has followed I Love Techno from the beginning till the end. You can listen to the whole broadcast again on their website or you can download it using the links below. For all you not dutch-speeking people, it’s a dutch radiostation so you’ll be hearing some dutch now and then, most interviews are in english though.

Also in the dubstep category, here’s Clueless. This is the title track of his latest EP. The cut up vocals blend in perfectly with the bass and synths. This was a bit of a grower for me!

Zombie Nation – Time Machine Mix

Zombie Nation is so much more then Kernkraft 4000, tracks like “Worth It” and “Forza” from his latest album “Zombielicious” scored very good on the dancefloor. Last summer I finally got the chance to see him live at Pukkelpop (one of the bigger Belgian festivals) and it was probably one of the better live acts (in the dance genre at least) I saw there. Electronic music in its purest form, just like this 30min mixtape. The mixtape is a mix of Zombie Nation’s “Best of” selection.
