Dominos is a track originally from The Big Pink who recently released their debut album “A Brief History Of Love”. Switch was asked to do this remix which turned up okay. I say “okay” because his older work is so much better in my opinion. I also for example didn’t like his recent remix for The Toxic Avenger – The Fall, but he’s going in the right direction again. TC Remixes

Here’s another post for all you drum&bass fans. TC (aka Tommyboy) is regarded as one of the most talented people in the drum&bass scene of today. His critically acclaimed debut album “Evolution” (2007) was released on D-Style and had some real party starters. He did some pretty big remixes as well (think of Day N Nite, Warhead, Roni Size’s “Don’t Hold Back”, etc).

Designer Drugs had my attention since the beginning. Very raw electro tracks that got me pumped up from the beginning till the end. A good example of that “raw” electro were their debut singles “ZOMBIES” and “BACK UP”. ZOMBIES was such an energetic song, I felt like jumping true the room every single time I heard this one. Designer Drugs is now back with a follow up, another double A side single, “DROP DOWN” and “RIOT”. Release is due for October 27.

I wasn’t very familiar with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs before I checked their latest album “It’s Blitz”. I instantly fell in love with their music mainly because of the brilliant vocals done by leadsinger Karen O. One of the best tracks and also the new single of the album is “Heads Will Roll”. Brilliant rock song that needed that little touch so we could play it for our dance audiance and who’s better fit for the job then DJ A-Trak himself? The remix turned up as I hoped, fitting nicely in any dj set without the lyrics and the unique voice of Karen getting lost.

Hold The Line (Public Speakers Remix)

Since the original “Hold The Line” wasn’t that good, a lot of remixes were made. Some of them were absolute summer hits, like the djedjotronic remix. Now Public Speakers took the original song and gave it a dubstep twist. A typical track for a lazy sunday in your couch.
