Crookers ft Soulwax & Mix Hell – We Love Animals

I don’t think this new share from the Crookers needs much of an introduction. I fell in love with it the first time I heard this, mainly because of the clear input by Soulwax (I even thought it was like the new track from Soulwax). The drums in this track are from Igor Cavalera drummer from the band Supultura and member of MixHell. MixHell will be performing at Soulwaxmas in Belgium, where Igor will be doing some live drumming as well. Love Love LOOOOOVE

Give It All You Got

danger

Probably my favourite French producer “Danger” is back with a new remix. I just can’t get enough of his sound, each track legendary and epic (yes! that’s the feeling I get when listening to his tracks!) as the one before. And I can’t say this enough “PLEAAAAASE BELGIAN PARTY ORGANISERS, GET THIS GUY!” Back to the remix, it’s a remix of “Lil Jon featuring Kee – Give It All You Got”, as expected some good solid rnb lyrics supported by the Danger sound I love. Only thing “annoying” me is the fact that the Lyrics sort of “dominate” the track and push back the danger sound to the background.

Hello Goodbye

The Oddword is a duo hailing from Antwerp who, this year, got a serious boost in popularity in the Flemish DJ scene. Their productions aren’t very well known (except for their cooperation with Gtronic: “Chop Chop”), but their DJ sets are always a guarantee for an absolute banging, crazy and energetic party. Crazy as those dj sets is this brand new production “Hello Goodybe” inspired by “Jeanette – Porque te Vas”. I’ll have to admit I wasn’t digging it the first time I heard it, but after a time or three you’ll be suprised how addictive this tune gets! Also check the disco feverish clip too this track, sick moves.

Le Castle Vania – Nobody Gets Out Alive

nobodygetsoutalive

It’s been a while since I heard anything from Le Castle Vania. Apparently he has been very busy designing his new site and making another banger. His newest track is called Nobody Gets Out Alive and has many rock influences but somehow manages to move the dancefloors.

Faithless Remixed

Here are 2 fresh dubstep tracks, both remixing dance pioneers Faithless.
‘Sun To Me’, from their upcoming new album, got remixed by Emalkay, who gained recognition with his massive dubstep anthem ‘When I Look At You’. It came out as a superb track. Have a listen and grab it in 320 (thanks to GetDarker.com!).

Faithless – Sun To Me (Emalkay Remix)

A more dark take on their material comes from upcoming producers Science, hailing from Antwerp, Belgium. Their tune ‘Heal My Hurts’ samples ‘God Is A DJ’. I’m looking forward to hearing what their next tunes will sound like.

Punk Rolla

punk rolla
A couple of days ago I stumbled onto a banging mixtape presented by dirty fidget producers Bass Weazal (Will Bailey & Ill Phil). They decided to keep on making killer tunes, but with their new alter ego: Punk Rolla. After hearing the mixtape, which is filled with pounding beats all the way through, I just had to check out some more. There are a lot of massive tracks on Punk Rolla’s myspace, from which I can share you two. The first one is a remix of “Walking On A Dream”, a song everyone should know by now. They’ve put a heavy bassline under those catchy vocals. The second track samples the Beatles, and it’s yet another awesome remake by Punk Rolla!

All for the party crowd!

crowd

Got two tracks for all you dj’s who have to spin for a more “commercial crowd” now and then. You know what I mean, tracks that people recognize. That’s all a “commercial crowd” needs, a known vocal or sample and if it’s remixed/re-edited any good, people will react on it. That’s what we like to see as dj, don’t we?

The first one is a re-edit of “Don’t Stop” from the King of Pop: Michael Jackson. Very basic and simple and perfect for our commercial crowd. DMNDAYS are the guys responsible for this re-edit!

Michael Jackson – Don’t Stop (DMNDAYS RE-EDIT)

And secondly a re-edit or “medley” as they call it their self by the Funkamonics. Subject of this medley? Daft Punk! It’s a deep electro track filled with Daft Punk samples.
