Lazaro Casanova

For those of you who are following the electro music scene for some time, Lazaro Casanova should definitely ring a bell. Back in 2007, when MSTRKRFT, Justice and their electro bangers ruled the music industry, mister Casanova got a fair amount of attention as well with his killer tunes Venganza, Shorts & Heels, Klover, etc…

A few years later however, he decided to change his musical style. The heavily hyped electro sound got replaced with a quality mix of techno and house. Today that’s still the direction he’s going and I must say he’s doing some great things, like this mixtape. This is what he had to say about the mix:

“This is a mix I’ve recently finished. I decided to include it into my “Perfect 10″ mixes, just cause I feel like people have personally enjoyed those and I figured it’d be nice to bring it back. This one includes two unreleased tracks I’ve done: one is a remix for Lee Burridge that will be out on Leftroom Records, the other is an original song I did called Bames Jrown. I’ve called the mix back to basics, because all of the tracks are highly influenced by the classic house sound…going deeper and groovier. Enjoy, -L“
