Koan Sound – Max Out EP
The almighty Koan Sound are coming with a new release, and it’s a damn big one! As far as I know they’ve always produced dubstep before (around 140bpm, that is). But after some off-beat experiments like ‘Garden Of Buddah’ and ‘Jumpsuit Adventures’, it was pretty clear that the 140bpm limitation wouldn’t last very long. Why am I telling you this? Three of the tracks on their “Max Out EP” are produced around 100bpm. They’ve produced a really refreshing sound, somewhere between Hip Hop and Dubstep. Especially the title track caught my attention! Check these three killer tracks out below! Here you can also listen to a preview the opening track of the EP called “Trouble In The West”. The EP will be released the 23rd of May on Inspector Dubplate’s label Inspected.
