Zero Gravity – Lines EP
I’m proud to share my newest discovery in the Belgian music scene. Two guys who go by the name “Zero Gravity” have released their “Lines EP” a few weeks ago on the 20th of January. It was only after hearing one of the tracks, “haze”, in a mixtape by Sound of Stereo for a Belgian radio program called “Switch” (listen to it here) that I noticed them.
My favourite tracks of the EP are definitely “Perfect Match” and “Haze”, both tracks are as dark as a black winter night.

Girl Complex
Killer release coming to the Belgian Silverback recordings. The most of you probably know Jean Nipon the best from the recently deceased Institubes label. Nice pickup by Silverback because this guy hasn’t lost any of his skills. Lots of variated sounds on this EP, have a listen to the more powerfull tracks in the soundcloud stream below or sitback and enjoy this chill and minimalistic refix by Voltron. Release: 20th february.

Damn it! Keep missing out on stuff like this (maybe I should start reading more other blogs again). Apparently Turbo Recordings gave this next track away as a free download around Christmas time, still weirdly enough, this is the first time I’m listening to it.
As expected from Mr. Chambers: the right amount of beats and bleeps with some old school techno synths.

Justice – On’N'On (Faisal Remix)
Other judges were staring at me weird when I said Faisal should be nominated for last years Red Bull Elektropedia Awards. Well, ok, I’ll admit it probably was a bit soon, because his big “breakthrough” came some time after the awards with his big win at the Limbomania dj contest. Now, Faisal is finally getting the attention he deserves. He already has been teasing us with small clips on youtube/souncloud of upcoming remixes but I bet nobody saw this one coming. This next remix for Justice – On’n'On is, yet again, brilliant. It just sounds like the original track was produced for the hip-hop lines he added to it. I kinda start sounding like a fanboy, but there is no way around Faisal this year!

Clouds – Articles (Vakkuum Remix)

Lektroluv update!
Okay, so our Belgian readers know what Lektroluv has been up to the last few days/weeks/months, amazing stuff time after time. But for our foreign readers who aren’t so familiar with the Belgian Lektroluv label, here is a quick update!
New Sound of Stereo mixtape, I posted their new upcoming EP “Volt” which is also seeing its release on Lektroluv. This mixtape is for their residency on Studio Brussel Switch.

Next up a new EP of the two mad scientist better known as Mumbai Science. Their next ep is number two in the ‘Unified Theory’ trilogy. The two new tracks Reality and Transcendence yet again sound so fresh and different, it’s a mystery to me how they are pulling this off. Already getting siked for part 3!
Mumbai Science – Unified Theory Part 2 by lektroluvrecords
New in the Lektroluv family: Modek. His latest EP ‘Willow/Dust’ brings the more rougher electro to the label, but that’s still how the Belgian crowd likes it. His remixes are getting more and more popular among the big players in the scene and his own productions wont take long to get there too. Personal favourite is Willow which sounds brutal on a big soundsystem.

Last but not least, the doctor himself is coming with a new mix cd. The mix was recorded at Xxxperience Festival in Brazil when he was touring there in December. Soon available on iTunes.
