I’m a big fan of Brodinski’s dj sets. Certainly after Pukkelpop where he played one of the best sets of the whole 3 days (in my opinion). Already counting down to his next performance in Belgium (don’t know when though!), but for now I’ll settle for this 45minute mixtape. The mixtape isn’t a normal routine from Brodinski, lot of hip-hop/rnb tracks. I’m digging this, but I think a lot of people will be rather suprised. I was less suprised because I recently checked a few of his posts on his own blog (http://smokemashine.blogspot.com/)which included a lot of hip-hop tracks as well.

Edu K left a good impression with the B-Live team at last years B-Live party in Berlin. They asked Edu K to do the next featured B-Live track. The actually rather funny named track “Flutesnoot” is what he delivered as yet another nice attribution too the B-Live series. But the thing that got me excited the most, is who they got to make a remix, namely: Brodinski! Two funky and bouncy house tracks, with the Brodinski remix as my favourite! It has that “darker” edge too it.

Lucky Dip is a dj duo from France (Paris/Reims). Their debut EP was released middle 2009 and was called Knacken EP. Knacken was remixed by Trumpdisco and Dro & Lodzy ( Dro & Lodzy Remix was even used by NISSAN for the making of video of their “think outside the box” ad). The latest track they remixed was Peanuts Club from Brodinski & Noob, very bouncy remix! The Dro & Lodzy remix for Knacken then, brings a more ravey vibe too it while Trumpdisco manages to add even heavier basses and an even rawer sound too the original (I didn’t expect anything else from these guys).

French producer Beataucue got into the blog scene after his remix of Pon De Floor, which got some attention.
Here are two newer productions, the Peanuts Club remix being my favorite. He’s got five more remixes in the pipeline, so keep an eye on his myspace.
Crookers Ft. Kardinal Offishall – Put Your Hands on Me (BeatauCue Remix)
Noob & Brodinski – Peanuts Club (BeatauCue Remix) // Noob – Brodinski

The new I Love Techno mix cd is here! Crookers got the honor to do the mixing. I haven’t listened the whole thing through yet, so I’ll let you decide for yourself wheather this is a good release or not. I’m glad to see some Brodinski, Oliver $ and Jack Beats, but I don’t think the ‘weirder’ dubstep productions from Zomby and Rustie should be on an I Love Techno mix cd…

18. Metronomy – Radio Ladio (Micachu Remix)

The latest release of my personal nr1 dj at the moment, Brodinski, is Eurostarr. Not a complete own production but a collaboration between him and Mumdance. Not the most known artist as far as I know, but after checking his myspace I found out he already made some good solid remixes/dj-sets and has a few interesting remixes coming up. Back to the track I’m sharing here then. It’s not the original track but an edit by Sharkslayer (check out his “cold as ice” track) which actually sounds very similar as the original but it’s totally free for download! In the end, though, I’ll have to admit that it isn’t my favorite Brodinski track.

Peanuts Club from Noob & Brondinski wasn’t released so long ago on Turbo Recordings and is offcourse still killing it on the dancefloors. Brilliant build-ups and a dancable rythme true the whole track makes it one of my favorits of the moment. But NT89 (pronounced 1989) thought, I think, that the track missed some extra bass and that’s what you’ll find back in this remix. Great remix even though it might get a bit hectic during the second half in my opinion.
