Too much hype for this sucka
Our blog is called GetHypedOnThis, well I’ve bumped into a hype (well we all did) that is just a bit too crazy. I’m talking about (you might have guessed it) the Crookers, and to be more specific the remix from Day ‘n’ nite, everywhere you go, you hear this song. Don’t get me wrong I love (loved?) the remix from the crookers but it has been like almost one year since I first heard it, so you might understand when I say I’ve already heard it enough before this Crookers hype started. It’s not only the day’n'nite remix, no, about two weeks ago me and some friends made the stupid decission to go to a local party. A lot of kids and about TWENTY times a track/remix from the crookers that night (not joking). Anyway a bit too much crookers past my ears the last weeks and for now I much rather enjoy the original version of Day ‘n’ nite by Kid Cudi!
A bit of an unusual post but I hope some of our readers can appreciate it and maybe share their comment on this hype! or is it only in Belgium they are so “hot”?

I’ve got a lot of tracks lined up for you guys! So here we go.
First off, a remix from Jence. Doesn’t ring any bells ? that name ? Well if I say he is the skinny guy from Digitalism , it will! He remixed a track from the Presets called Talk Like That. When you hear the remix, you can definitely tell he’s a member of Digitalism.

Then, a new remix from MSTRKRFT – BOUNCE by High Powered Boys a collaboration between Surking and Bobmo, who have been friends sinds childhood. In awaiting for the Bloody Beetroots remix of BOUNCE, here is the High Powered Boys version!

Now, a brand new remix from Project Cyborg. They just won PragaTown Dj contest which gave them a place in the line-up of this years PragaTown dance edition the 13th september. Then another remix, from a guy who calls himself Mustard Pimp. He’s from France and is bringing us a remix from a track just released on the new Crookers EP, Il Brutto. Some Fidget pimp’in stuff.

That’s right, a brand new EP from our favourite Italian ghetto dj duo! An EP inspired by their home country, released on Diplo’s Mad Decent label. On the EP we find 4 tracks including The Bloody Beetroots remix of Il Brutto. To give you guys a little taste of the new EP , which is now available on ITunes and Beatport, I uploaded Il Cattivo and The Bloody Beetroots remix of Il Brutto. For those who know the AC/DC remix from the Crookers will probably recognize some samples of it in Il Cattivo.

Mixtapes for the summer
It’s been a while since we posted some new stuff. It’s been quite busy the last few days (end of school year = partys). For myself, I’m back from a small vacation with a small surn-burn and I’am already packing for the upcomming festivals (Rock Werchter, Les Ardentes, I’ll promise you guys a small report). But until then here are some mixtapes for the summer!

Crookers Live @ Rauw
Last month the white italian negro’s showed up at SUPERRAUW in holland. They shared the decks with Boys Noize that night, wich was a guaranteed succes (check partypic). We got the 2hr set in 2 parts… expect some hippedy hop rappin’ tappin’ dirty lectro shizzle (keep an eye on the ‘Kelis – Milkshake’ remix, it’s supahsexy!).

Time for a new Track-Mania. Check out the must have tracks we spotted this time !
We start of with a new remix of “Usher – Love In This Club” by MSTRKRFT. Another perfect track for the dancefloor. An interesting fact about the original track, is that the background tune probably was stolen from a youtube movie. That specific youtube movie was made by 2 Belgium students !

Bob Rifo, the man behind The Bloody Beetroots remixes just doesn’t sit still. His latest remix is from the track “72 Virgins” from the UK band Shitdisco.

Some more Italian violence in this times Track-Mania by the Crookers. Their new remix is a remix from Moby’s “I love to move in here” a track from Moby’s new album “Last Night”. Very typical sound for the Crookers, which you’ll definitely enjoy.

Next one is a new track/remix By StereoHeroes called FUKT featuring Teen Wolf. We posted their NLLR mixtape a few weeks ago, which was pretty impressive and so is the track !

Last but not least, not such a recent track, but still worth posting. A remix of “Justice – DVNO” by Les Petits Pilous. In my opinion the best DVNO remix at the moment.

). Nonetheless, these 2 tracks are absolutely worth listening to! A new Bloody Beetroots remix ‘I Am Not Drunk’. That’s exactly what i was telling myself last night before i hit the floor. Anyway, the other is a fancy footwork remix from the Italian duo, Crookers. You probably know this track from their JJJ mixup from last month. If you haven’t listened to the endless list of fancy footwork remixes you might like this 
And our friends @ Phase02 found this new london producer called ‘stupidisco‘ who has just released his first track ‘marilyn monroe’, pretty sweet track! And last but not least im trowing in another LA Riots remix! Enjoy
