Gtronic part two?

Gtronic was one of the first Belgian artists on our blog back in the early days. Nobody heard of him back then, but Iron Man was on our blog as a free download months before it got picked up by a label. In the lasts two years it was amazing to see him get viral so fast. Playing all over the globe and doing one brutal remix after the other … has it all come to an end? or?

Hell no, Gtronic aint going nowhere. Fresh promovideo, fresh image, fresh logo and a sh*t load of killer remixes. For the non-believers:

On April the 13th, Villains released their latest EP “Victims” on Dim Mak records featuring vocals by Whiskey Pete. True Pseudo, 12th Planet & Flinch and Designer drugs had the honor to remix the original. These last guys were friendly enough to share their remix with the blogs. Enjoy this fine piece of art!

Designer Drugs had my attention since the beginning. Very raw electro tracks that got me pumped up from the beginning till the end. A good example of that “raw” electro were their debut singles “ZOMBIES” and “BACK UP”. ZOMBIES was such an energetic song, I felt like jumping true the room every single time I heard this one. Designer Drugs is now back with a follow up, another double A side single, “DROP DOWN” and “RIOT”. Release is due for October 27.

Designer Drugs and girly band!

A girly band you say? That’s right, Red Blooded Women is a 3 headed girls band from the UK. Of course I’m not that interested in their original song, but what caught my ears is this Designer Drugs remix from their upcoming release “Enjoy the silence”. Nice catchy lyrics (I think it’s a cover because I know it from somewhere, but can’t put my finger on it, hmmmm…) and the nice typical sound from Designer Drugs, not so hard as their track Zombie but still a party killer I say.

And then to top things off, another remix from Designer Drugs somewhat in the same style but not from a girls band but an American rock band called “Protokoll“. Good stuff
