FCKN CREW – DISCOKE

The FCKN CREW has amazed us in the past, but that was about two years ago. All what came after those first tracks and that amazing djset “Fckn Crew live @ fleche d’or (11/01/08)” was a bit rubbish to say it harsh. So this new EP… I was skeptic at the beginning. But I must say they did a pretty good job on this one. It’s hard trash electro, but with a good melody too it and not toooo much noise (as in the past). It features an original and 4 remixes and above all absolutely free!

Owl Vision – Fields of Corpses EP

I can’t remember the last time I posted something and that really pisses me of. My computer crashed like a month ago so I was completely of the globe. Now I finally got a brand new laptop so I can start posting again. It has also been a while since we posted some trashy electro, so what better way than to start with a free EP from Owl Vision. The EP includes remixes of Fckn Crew, IKKI and Underhall. I was really surprised by the outcome, my favourites are the original and Fckn Crew’s version!

It’s been a while since we heard anything from the FCKN CREW, I must admit I kinda lost my interest after the Carnage release (wasn’t digging it much). Now they are back with a new track with yet another original titel “Slaughter”. Raw electro, some very high synth sounds, all very typicall for the FCKN CREW, but still I get the feeling there’s something missing…

When I hear Fckn Crew, I think about heavy uncutted raw electro trash and that’s exactly what they represent. I must be honest, I’m kind of losing intrest for that sort electro music. Today electro music is moving back again to the more real basic electro/computer sounds instead of the raw rock sound. But hey, maybe I shouldn’t abandon it to quickly, because the Fckn Crew is bringing us a brand new EP and to give us some what of a sneak peak Fckn Crew made a little minimix including the most tracks of the upcomming EP. Heavy? Uncutted? Raw? Electro? I might get the taste for it again!
