Ears Off had its first edition last Thursday in Café Capital (Belgium). The line-up was a selection of some of Belgians finest DJ’s and producers. Life or re-life the complete night all over again with the next mixtapes!

The title sounds heroic, doesn’t it? …. We DJ’s know why we are making these mixtapes, right? We want people to enjoy our music choice and show of our skills, but most of all we want to be noticed and what would even better: we want go get booked by the biggest partys around! Some mixtapes though are not made to publicise the dj making it, but rather the event they are hosting or playing at! Anyway, I think this counts as a proper introduction for the next few mixtapes!
e-Minded
Is known as one of the guys behind Needle On The Record a well known Belgian party in Leuven. Here is his Filthy Angel Mix as a small promotion for the party concept but of course for him as well! A lot of unreleased/unsigned tracks, so definitely worth listening too.

Geht’s Noch?
The immens popular flemish duo is scoring very well with their latest release “Horny”. The track is even getting played on national radio (Studio Brussel of course). They are also working on a new concept called “This Is Belgium” the first broadcast was last week and more will come later, also keep an eye on the blog because we will post some interesting facts about it later! The mixtape ran out of download limit, so until they pass me a new link, you can only stream.

Geht’s Noch? made an early June mix for everyone who’s looking out for the summer but still has to punch themselves through finals (like myself).
We are not the only ones looking out for the summer… Geht’s Noch? got a spot at the Tommorowland Main Stage next to Felix Da Housecat, Les Petitis Pilous, and many more. So they are heading to a summer full of madness.
Also, expect a brand new Geht’s Noch EP after the summer.
Last week Plastik was held in Capital Antwerp (in Belgium). On the line-up we found Beatbouncers, Gehts Noch, Keatch, Titilove and the Oddword. Plastik uploaded 4 livesets of that party, only Titilove is not represented in the livesets. So for all you people who couldn’t make it (like myself) or just need 4 new banging sets, check the link below. A small warning ahead: because the 4 livesets are in one .rar file the complete file is almost 700mb, but the quality of the sets are good except the bass is sometimes a bit too loud. Anyway don’t forget to check their myspace, because I’ve got the feeling this isn’t the last edition!
Ellie likes electro is an upcomming event/party here in Putte(Antwerp). You don’t see much more partys like that around here. Over here people are still more in the jump/hardstyle stuff and there for you see a lot of jump/hardstyle dj’s at the bigger partys. Anyway Ellie likes electro is bringing us a full electro/dance line-up(check the flyer for line-up!!) the first of november. And we of course don’t mind advertising a bit now and then for these partys! Let’s hope we see some more of these next year! Anyway I’m not gonna babble on much longer. Geht’s Noch made a little minimix as somewhat of a promotion for Ellie likes electro. 18 tracks in 16 minutes, a rather commercial tracklist but that’s not more then normal, you can’t play proxy – raven or something to attract the larger croud.
