Housemeister – Music Is Awesome

Who is That Noize? Inordertodance. What You Want. These tracks should definitely ring some bells, they are taken from Housemeister‘s debut album “Who Is That Noize”. Housemeister has always had a really distinguishing sound and apart from that he always has been a peculiar guy. A few years ago I saw him play a gig at a local party, for starters he looked a bit wasted, so I didn’t got my hopes very high and at that time he was also playing with vinyl. Was it the bad material or just him being wasted but a mix between records couldn’t have gone any wronger… . The crowd lost interest in this, at that time not so popular, dj/producer. I stood loyal to his debut album still enjoying those tracks (even these days) but I didn’t get warm for any new releases and let most of them pass me by.

(This is starting to sound like a bad review isn’t it?) Hell, let’s cut the negative crap, Housemeister’s second album “Music Is Awesome” is … AWESOME! The intro track gives the whole package a nice retro extravaganza feeling (like those old american black&white movies, not like I have seen any, but you know what I mean). The title track “Music Is Awesome” is probably one my least favourites, but what makes up for this track is this brilliant videoclip that goes along with it, there’s also a video contest going on, you should check that one out, got the feeling some funny as stuff is gonna follow out of that one. The album features some high tempo, action packed tracks like Rapide, Twisteras and Saverave as well as more relaxing easylistening tunes like Feed The Robots and Sommer. Also nBaxx featuring Boys Noize is on the album which was previously released on the Shizzo EP by Boys Noize and Housemeister, had some great responds on this track at last weeks gig, you immediately feel the Boys Noize touch on this one when playing it. For my favourite track on the album I’m going for Schnee Von Gestern feat. Jan Driver, another brilliant collaboration which results in a track that will get some reaction from the even more commercial minded crowds I think!

Housemeister has his facts right, music is indeed awesome. And while having a very distinguishing sound I think this EP will reach more then just the “scene”. Must get album for this summer! Oh yeah, the album is out today, but you can still listen to the preview here.

BONAPARTE -Too much (HOUSEMEISTER RMX)

Bonaparte is for so much as I know a German rock band. They are told to have the craziest show of the world, can’t confirm this tho! Well, this crazy band got remixed by a crazy producer better known as hOUSEMEISTER. The track itself is as we can expect from hOUSEMEISTER typical deep electro tunes overtopped with the vocals who have been edited in many different ways. Too Much is “Too Much”, but he gets away with it.

Zombie Nation – Forza

When you hear Zombie Nation you probably immediately think about Kernkraft 400 or Lower State Of Consciousness (what a crappy word to spell), today Zombie Nation releases his newest EP (on UKW Records label) called Forza. The track Forza itself sounds very like euhm… let’s say a Mr. Oizo track, which is actually rather funny because they look so much a like and he lives in Germany aswell! Maybe it’s his lost brother?! Anyway I uploaded two tracks from the EP, the original Forza and the hOUSEMEISTER remix (only found 96kbps of it, sorry for that!). The hOUSEMEISTER is the better track for me, only it is 8minutes long and there isn’t that much variation in it. Anyway not much more to say, bit sleepy , but I thought it was a good share! Love Rednik.

In august I made a post about hOUSEMEISTERs newest album. The album was a compilation of the best remixes made from his previous album, “Who is that noize?”. The album was released about a week ago. For some what of a promotion hOUSEMEISTER uploaded one of the tracks from the album for free download, and this happends to be my favourite track of the album. So I thought I should share it with you guys. The track I’m talking about is, What you want (Siriusmo remix). Very dance-able tune and at the same time very relaxing, the perfect track to end your evening after a hard electro party. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do!

WHO IS THAT NOIZE remixes

hOUSEMEISTER is bringing us a compilation with tracks from “Who is that noize”, remixed by artists as Boys Noize, Siriusmo, … . The compilation will be released on CD the 16th october. But there will not only be a CD release, but an there will be an EP release aswell. Part 1 should be released around the 15th of september and the second part should be around 6 october. The EP will have some tracks less then the CD. On the CD I find a lot of artists I never heard about, but probably you think the same. So I’m adding a remix of the complete album with 45 seconds of every track.

hOUSEMEISTER

It’s been a while since we last posted some new stuff. My apologese for that (school comes first i guess) ! Well, enough of these lame excuses, time for some new hyped up stuff. hOUSEMEISTER has a new album comming up, and to promote it, he uploaded his full album onto his myspace musicplayer, but only for one week ! So i suggest you go to hOUSEMEISTER’s myspace and check it out. The tracks have this sort of minimal influence, as I’m used of hOUSEMEISTER’s tracks. The album tracks are online on his myspace until 30/05 and after that you’ll have to wait until the release somewhere july.

And as an extra we uploaded INORDERTODANCE, probably the most known track from hOUSEMEISTER. This track is also included on the new album.
