RELAUNCH!

Allright, finally got the new blog layout up and running. It still needs some tweaking and fine-tuning here and there, but it should be pretty much “surfable”. Hoping to add some more new stuff later this week as well. If the website doesn’t look very good you are probably are using an outdated version of Internet Explorer, don’t know if i’ll fine tune the website for those browsers in the future. So what’s new to the layout? A bit of re-arrenging and some CSS3 stuff along with a Featured Content box to highlight the most important posts! You can also rate posts now, gives a good measurement of what people like and what not of course!

While counting down to the new launch I also started a quest for new writers, we are thinking about “recruiting” one extra poster for Electro/House and one for DnB/Dubstep, had a lot of candidates who will all be contacted with further info if they are still interested!

So that’s the most important stuff so far, all other changes in the next weeks will be posted on facebook and twitter!

What’s up with Laidback Luke and Lee Mortimer‘s “Blau”? Seriously, all the big names are dropping this track, but for us poor dj’s without good connections it isn’t even released yet? I’ve finally got a decent version of the LA Riots remix thanks to electrocasts.net, but I’m in despered need of the orginal one. The nice long build up, followed by an unexpected nasty wobble. The LA Riots remix is good, but the nasty wobble comes less unexpected and a bit less “nasty”.

Been a while since I checked Lee Mortimers myspace on which he just uploaded a new remix from a band called Cat House. Cat House is a rock band from the UK with some nice relaxed tunes, their newest single, Animal skins (the one Lee Mortimer remixed), will be released somewhere June 09. I expected the remix to be a typicall fidget uk house track, but it isn’t actually. It’s more of a house track with a good summer vibe with some fidget influences, but not dominating the complete picture! I LIKE.
