A duo that no longer needs an introduction on this blog: Project Cyborg! They are coming with a new EP, “Cyborg 2000″. The EP contains the long awaited track “Hit It” aswell as four other bangers. The EP covers some serious Fidget House, aswell as heavy pounding Electro beats. The release is set for 8 december on the Keatchen Records label. Up next? Dinosaur EP? I sure hope so!

Yesterday evening Michael Jackson passed away by the cause of a heart failure. The news came as a shock for practicaly the whole world and especially for the music world who lost their biggest icon. Michael Jacksons album “Thriller” is still the best sold album in the world. His music was an inspiration for many artists even for us djs and producers. A lot of his tracks were remixed over and over and they never got boring. I selected three of those remixes who probably will be played a lot the coming weeks.

The second EP of Project Cyborg is about to be released on MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO label! the 11th of June to be more exact. The EP will be called “Hey Ladies” and will include the original mix and the remix by Modek formerly known as Mellow. The Project Cyborg fans will hear it correctly, Hey Ladies is build on the same sample they used for their snoop dogg vs dr dre remix. My guesses is that they had to get rid of that remix because they didn’t had the rights to use the vocals etc … (correct me if I’m wrong!). Anyway, they polished up the sample, got some new lyrics and made it ready to hit the clubs. Also check the Modek remix which I even find a bit better then the original track.

Hell yeah! One of my favourite Belgian producers, Project Cyborg, is coming up with their first full EP. While I’m still playing their beastie boys and snoop dogg remixes (check previous posts on Project Cyborg) all around I can’t wait to hear their complete own productions on the EP called Hit Hard. I already heard a small teaser of the remix by Mellow which only promises good things. The release is planned for the 20th april on the Keatchen rec. label, but for now we’ll have to do with Project Cyborg’s latest mixtape.

First off, a remix from Jence. Doesn’t ring any bells ? that name ? Well if I say he is the skinny guy from Digitalism , it will! He remixed a track from the Presets called Talk Like That. When you hear the remix, you can definitely tell he’s a member of Digitalism.

Last wednesday the day before the start of Rock Werchter, I went to a party in Leuven. The flyer said “booty – electro – clash”, 3 keywords for a perfect party if you ask me. Project Cyborg was playing that night as well. Good set, with the latest electro tracks, during the set I didn’t recognized a track. So after their set I went to the guys and asked what track it was. It was no other then their own new track, called “Feel So Cyborg”.

With the online release of their new remix, it was time we posted something about this crazy electro duo from Belgium, known under the name “Project Cyborg“. I knew these guys from myspace and really like their track Angerland 3000. Today I got a mail from them saying that they had a new remix, a remix from the track “Beastie Boys – Super disco breakin” . The track was as I expected, hell, maybe even better, catchy vocal loops along with bouncy electro beats. Here is the remix along with Angerland 3000 and their latest minimix, enjoy !
