Robots


There is a new artist in the DIM MAK stable, called Motor. Their sound is very experimental techno/electro like. At the moment they are the support act for Depeche Mode’s stadium tour. Their newest album Metal Machine will be released on the DIM MAK label. The first single of that album is Death rave and is available for download right now (check their myspace), but I only got my hands on the remix they made from Kanye West’s Robotcop. I know the original track and I must say I don’t recognize that much samples from the original. Anyway I appreciate the sound behind it, rough deep techno beats which make you feel like your at a Rave party.

Röyksopp – Happy up here


Who doesn’t know “Eple” and “What else is there?” from Röyksopp? Exactly! No one, old time classics who made us remember the name Röyskopp. On 23 march we can expect their newest album called “Junior”. The first single of the album will be “Happy Up Here” and should be released on 9 march. You guys probably already know the banging, amazing (yeah, I’m really loving it) Boys Noize remix which is probably one of the hotter blog tracks of the moment (and for those who don’t know it yet, I added a link for the Boys Noize remix aswell). But, because the Boys Noize remix is already blogged all around the internet I picked out a remix/edit by a guy called “607″. It’s not a remix like the Boys Noize one, but a hip hop tainted one! A chill/sit back and relax raplyric on the tunes of Happy Up Here. It doesn’t always have to be heavy basses and a wobbly fidget sound in my opinion!
