In these days of mediocre electro releases, it’s always nice to see when Potty Mouth Music puts something new out. They just never disappoint. This time they present the Remix EP of The Bulgarian‘s fidget house classic ‘Jack It Like A Zombie’ with Spoek on vocals.

Pounding beats. Heavy synths. Check out this great remix by Nom De Strip. A deeper, funkier remix comes from Wally Callerio, founder of Dufflebag Recordings.

Here’s someone we haven’t featured on this blog yet, but who’s definitely not new to the music industry: Trevor Loveys. He’s been dropping releases and remixes as Trevor Loveys since 1998, but was also involved in awesome projects like Machines Don’t Care and Speaker Junk (with Hervé). Also, he recently released “Organ Grinder” (sampling DJ Shadow) on Hervé’s label Cheap Thrills.

One of his most recent EPs is the result of his collaboration with Affie Yusuf (who was also involved in Machines Don’t Care), featuring Spoek‘s vocals. Remixes come from Made To Play, Stuffa, The Touch, Krazy Fiesta (with a nice minimal approach) and Trevor Loveys himself. Check out the tunes and go over to Beatport to buy the EP.
