Loving the stuff coming from Santigold these days. Studio Brussel is playing the new Spank Rock ft. Santigold “Car Song” frequently which always get me in a good mood. The new Spank Rock album, which is produced by Boys Noize, is also worth checking out by the way! Back to Santigold, her latest single “Big Mounth” got produced by Switch and Buraka Som Sistema, this second one I guessed immediately after listening to the first 10 seconds, you’ll get why. My favourite UK based French house producer ‘Louis La Roche‘ shared a new remix for free. The original track ‘I Still Love You’ is from Switch mostely active as one half of Major Lazer these days. Louis La Roche turned into a Nu-Disco track with probably more chicago house influences then I have knowledge of! Chicago House + soulful RnB vocals by Andrea Martin = WIN some might say!

Dominos is a track originally from The Big Pink who recently released their debut album “A Brief History Of Love”. Switch was asked to do this remix which turned up okay. I say “okay” because his older work is so much better in my opinion. I also for example didn’t like his recent remix for The Toxic Avenger – The Fall, but he’s going in the right direction again. Judge for yourself!
