Brains…Off

Lately I’ve been having a hard time finding new electro bangers. It’s not that I can’t find any of them, but it just only happens occasionally that I get impressed by a new electro track. Not a couple times a day, like it used to be. Is it because I’m just bored of the whole electro/fidget sound, or because the electro scene is kinda dead at the moment? Personally I think the dubstep scene is delivering much more original and inspired stuff right now. But then again I can imagine a lot of you think differently, so I’ll post some of the electro tunes I could enjoy.

First of all I think Dirty Disco Youth does keep bringing those nice bouncy electro bangers. His last EP “…Off” released on Dim Mak is no exception. Here’s the B-side of the EP and a remix by FUKKK OFFF.

Our Dutch neighbours have been doing some great things in the electro scene last year. This year it will be Oliver Twizt making big tunes like “Gangsterdam”, released on Laidback Luke’s Mixmash label.

I’m finding it hard to find some good tunes these days, maybe it’s because of the holiday season, I don’t know. Here are some nice tracks though:

The Partysquad‘s name gives a nice clue about how his tunes sound like. This Dutch producer just got a new EP released on quality label Mad Decent. Expect heavy bass Bmore, mixed with some oldskool hip hop and electro. The remix by deadly combo Jayou and Diplo is a big dubstep tune!

A new Nightshifters EP featuring Udachi and Jubilee will be dropped the 8th of September with remixes by Cardopusher, Dre Skull, Nick Catchdubs and more. This is the title track, Paypur. (192 kbps)
